About
I am a redeemed sinner first and foremost! But I guess to describe me I can tell you some other descriptors :) I am a single mother of two amazing little blessings (2 boys: 13 & 8). I live with my mom so I can be with my kids and home school them. I just graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Ministry Leadership: Women's Ministry. I love all things outdoors (for the most part). I love time with my family. Combine those two things and you have my perfect day! Working outside with my family on projects is amazing! I love coaching and playing sports. I enjoy reading and drawing and writing and painting and sewing and crocheting and singing praise songs and teaching kids at church. I love animals! We have two rescue horses, three chocolate labs, seven cats, two fish, and six chickens (four hens and two roosters: two separate clans). The highlights of all of our weeks is meeting with our local church for Bible study, kid's camp, youth group and church.
I got my B.A. because it is the first state requirement for me to apply and pursue opening a safe house for girls rescued from trafficking in the state of Florida. I am working on my business plan for that and praying about how to move forward. I hope to combine a horse rescue with the safe house. Watching a horse recover mentally, emotionally and physically from a battered empty vessel to a shiny healthy friend is something that cannot be replaced by any other experience. I have so many faults still that the Lord is working on in me! But praise be to Him that He will finish what He started in me! :) |
I am one of those people that get pure enjoyment out of relationships with animals. :) I love all our animals!!! I love all animals everywhere. I went and visited an elephant sanctuary nearby and decided I want a baby bull elephant from Africa!!! :) God has always used animals in my life to ease my emotional pain and bring me hope and joy and companionship. They have taught me to smile again when life was too hard to remember I forgot how to smile. I am so grateful for the animal kingdom and our God-given authority to take care of it! Animals are one of God's ministers of His mercy, grace and love. Feel free to share photos of your animals with me! :) |
Sad news! My beloved, beautiful, loving mustang died a few weeks ago. He got colic and the vet came out for 2 days in a row, and he seemed to be doing better, then he just collapsed and died. It was horrendous, tragic and extremely sad. I still miss him.
